Alfonso De Simone is Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Naples. He obtained the Ph.D. in 2007 (University of Padova) and then moved as a research associate in the laboratory of Chris Dobson FRS at the University of Cambridge. In 2011 he established his group at Imperial College London and moved in 2021 at the university of Naples. ADS is interested at the definition of advanced methods at the interface between solution/solid-state NMR and molecular simulations. Current research topics span intrinsically disordered proteins, membrane proteins, amyloids and biimaterials.
